A: Depends on your bandwidth demands, but Category 6 cable will work for most users.  If you are running a 10-gig network, you will want to go with Category 6A.

Q: What is a Demarc extension?

A: This is extending your internet/phone carrier services via fiber or copper cable from the building MPOE room to your server room.  Your carrier provider will be able to advise what type of cable is required for this extension.

Q: How do I determine what mega-pixel camera to use?

A: The quality of camera should be determined based on the mounted camera location in proximity to the desired field of view.  The further the distance between the camera and targeted field of view, the higher pixel camera you’ll want to use.
